What's your style and approach when it comes to working with founders post-investment? What are the characteristics of founders you've worked well with?

Hands-on, heavily focused on strategy, BD and hiring. We focus on founder-market fit so our founders are as diverse as the markets we invest in - no one size fits all.

If I'm coming to pitch to you, what's the one piece of advice you'd give me?

Don't worry about educating us on market, dive right into the details of your product/approach and your team. Answer "why you" not "why this market".

How would you describe your own personal mission and values, and how do they impact the way you invest?

I want to change the way people live and work. Technology should be a force to improve the lives of everyday people, not just the few. Entrepreneurship should be equally equitable.

What do you like best about investing in NYC, and what’s your outlook on the future of NYC tech?

The ability to be with customers, industry leaders, investors and founders all in the same day.
